|   The East Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company will be holding its annual golf outing fundraiser Saturday August 28th, 2010 at Carmichaels Golf Course in Carmichaels, PA. Join them for a day of fun with friends and good people! There will be prizes, great food, drinks, gifts for everyone, plus a chance to win a HARLEY DAVIDSON SUPER GLIDE MOTORCYCLE with every hole in one on a pre-designated hole and a chance to win $100,000.00!

“STRIVE TO SURVIVE III GOLF TOURNAMENT”
The East Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company is busy preparing for its Annual “Strive to Survive” Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, August 28th at Carmichaels Golf Course
The day will begin at 7:00 am with registration, coffee, doughnuts; and it will finish with awards, prizes, and a Texas Steak Barbeque at the pavilion.
Proceeds from this event will be used to support the East Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company so that we can continue to provide Emergency Services for another year. With the cost of inflation, fuel, utilities, upkeep, and upgrading it has been a very difficult task keeping up with expenses. Ours is a 100% Volunteer outfit in a struggling community. Being a 100% volunteer service means that the 30 or so members have the task of not only working at their regular jobs, but taking on a second non paying job as fund raisers to keep the fire department running to provide emergency services to those who find themselves in need. Whether it is a structure fire, car accident, river or rail emergency, flood, search and rescue, scuba and swift water rescue and serious medical emergencies these volunteers jump into action without raising a question, giving up their valuable family and free time to help anyone in need. Now they need your help, so they can Strive to Survive! So with all this said, why not take your colleagues, customers, community leaders, friends and / or business associates out for a great day of golfing before the season ends. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a fun and competitive day while showing your support for an organization that cares about you and anyone else that needs their help at any given time.

2009 STRIVE TO SURVIVE Well the 2009 Strive to Survive outing has come and gone. It ended on a great day for golf! Lot's of prizes where given away thanks to our sponsors. We went through ton's of food and beer and had only one steak left when it was all over. Unfortunately nobody won a Harley Davidson or the $100,000.00 Shoot Out! We tried our best to make everyone happy and hopefully we did. Were looking forward to seeing all of you back again next year. We apoligize to the 18 foresomes we had to turn away. 1st EBVFC 2007 Department Golf Outing  The 1st Annual EBVFC was nothing short of spectacular! With Iron Man Mike Hughes, Matt & Nicholas Babko leading the way. A Stellar performance by Assistant Chief Bill Doriguzzi who stole the spot light from all these golfers. Bill hasn't played golf for approximately 15 years and he shot in the low 90's with nice tee shots and straight fairway shots. His short game was nothing more than phenominal. Chief Engineer Mark Husak's discovery of a golf ball farm and much, much more! For the guy's that didn't go you missed out of loads of laughs and a day of fun! Here are few candid moments.
